The service

Poly Tick Tape sells files of the Chainlink BTC/USD price and its 60-second TWAP as recorded by our collector, for analysing Polymarket's 5-minute BTC Up/Down markets. Poly Tick Tape is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Polymarket or Chainlink. Nothing on this site is investment advice.

Your account and key

  • An account belongs to one person or one organisation. Keep your API key secret; you are responsible for what is done with it.
  • Do not share or publish your key. Rotate it at once if it leaks.
  • Purchases do not change your key. Rotating it replaces it at once; the previous key stops working.
  • Downloads are limited to 300 per account per UTC day. We may suspend an account that shares its key, tries to get around the limits or access rules, or overloads the service.

What you may do with the data

  • Use the data you bought for your own research, trading and products, privately or inside your organisation, for as long as you like.
  • Publish results derived from the data — charts, statistics, models, back-test results — as long as the raw rows cannot be rebuilt from them.
  • Do not resell, redistribute or publish the files or substantial parts of them, alone or as part of another dataset.

Payment and renewal

  • Prices are in US dollars and charged through Stripe. Taxes may be added where they apply.
  • A one-time purchase is paid once and can be downloaded for 7 days after payment (for a period still in progress, 7 days after its last day is published). Files you downloaded in that time stay yours to use under these terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. If a renewal payment fails, access continues for one day while Stripe retries; after that it pauses until a payment succeeds. We email you 3 days before a yearly renewal and before a cancelled subscription ends.
  • Refunds follow the refund policy.

No warranty

The data is provided as recorded. It has gaps where our collector received nothing, and it may differ from what other sources show. We do our best to keep the service running and the files correct, but we do not promise that the data is complete, accurate or fit for any particular purpose, or that the service is always available.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
